First Blog!

It's official- we have decided to start our own family blog! With Jack growing up so quickly, we wanted to be able to share all of the fun and excitement. We can also print out our blog and save it for Jack when he gets older. Sort of a scrapbook, without the cost, time and mess!

Jack is growing in leaps and bounds! He's now 4 1/2 months old, and he has started eating solid foods this past week! To date, he has had squash, sweet potatoes, applesauce and green beans! He also sleeps through the night, which is a relief for mommy! We typically have him in bed by 8, and if he isn't jolted awake by our barking dog, will sleep until 7am! He loves to stand up- not so much a fan of tummy time. Today he did a face plant, and I do believe he may have his first bruise on his nose. It's enough to make mommy a wreck, since she wasn't quick enough to catch him!

We are looking forward to heading up north next weekend and visiting relatives! Jack gets to see all of his aunt and uncles, and great grandma on my side. Then he gets to meet more aunts and uncles, and his Great Grandma and Grandpa Rummel for the very first time! Mommy will of course, take lots of pictures!
